Registrations open August 31

The third annual Wild Earth NYE Resolution Run will wind it’s way around the stunning Emerald Lakes Golf Course before heading out and back along the flat and fast lakeside path. Competitors will be able to choose between 4, 8 and 12km options, in addition to these; two junior races will also be offered over 500m and 1km – so the whole family can get involved.

Besides our individual events, we once again welcome back our Rigs Recovery Relay Events

This year we will also have the following relays with a new tweak on our Family relay! This year we have a two-person 8k relay (that’s 4k each) for a parent and child (under the age of 14), with no stipulation on gender. Our other relays will require, to encourage participation, three persons per team (4km each).

  • OPEN (sports clubs, gyms, etc. )
  • HIGH SCHOOL
  • PRMARY SCHOOL
  • CORPORATE
  • PARENT & CHILD 8k*

Each team needs to include both genders (or gender neutral folk). Young and old, schoolmates, workmates, clubmates…get creative!

Entry includes a post race drink so you can refuel or kick start your night (depending on your choice of drink) and start to relax, enjoy the live music or a family movie on the big screen and then take in the fireworks display at the family friendly time of 7.30pm. There’ll be giant games, jumping castles and face painting for the kids and of course a bar – so you can ‘rehydrate’ and celebrate your last day of a very interesting 2020 in style.

Adding to the intrigue, there will be the Rebel Sport Schools Challenge that will see the schools with the most support vie for some amazing prizes. To level the playing field; all schools will be judged on a per capita basis; so schools big and small will have an equal opportunity to kit themselves out for 2021. Last year our winner; Coomera Anglican College, took home $1000 worth of sporting gear courtesy of Rebel Sport Robina!
